The Knights of Columbus is the historic Catholic men's organization. It's purpose is to render financial and other forms of aid to Catholic families in need by fund-raising and donating to charitable needs and projects. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy people and their families. Knights undertake these acts of charity because they see those in need through the eyes of faith. The opportunity to work together with fellow Knights and their families is virtually endless. The major charity the Knights sponsor is the firewood for the needy in the valley, they also sponsor a $1000 scholarship to any college and donate to the local charities.
